The winning entry in the “Funny shaped vegetable” competition
The competition was held during the Twinning Association’s barbecue hosted
by Clive and Sue Downer in July 2005
The vegetable is a swede and grown by the competition winners, Nigel and Annette Finch
As you can see it has a remarkable likeness to a trophy celebrating Great Britain’s
winning bid to host the Olympics in London in 2012
