The twinning oak tree at Coquainvilliers school
This was our guest photo for June 2006 and was taken by Roger Cavill.
The oak tree was donated by Creech Twinning Asociation to the French jumelage
at the formation of the Twinning Association, November 1995.
The tree (then a charming baby at little more than 1 metre tall)
was planted at Coquainvillers school.
Now (July 2006), at just over 10 years old, it is fast approaching its teenage years.
No doubt soon it will probably start wearing an iPod and speaking
a strange dialect unintelligible to parents and most people over the age of 25.
